OUR COVID 19 POLICIES

We recognise that there is still a clear need for neuro physio and for people to have access to rehabilitation during the Coronavirus pandemic.  We have worked hard to make our clinic and our practices as safe as we possibly can for all our visitors and clients.

We are taking all measures possible to ensure that we are minimising any risks associated with the Coronavirus. We are closely monitoring and adhering to advice provided by the Government, Public Health England and the NHS.

Our professional body The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy have directed us that we must carry out a remote assessment via video or telephone call before clients attend for their first face to face appointment.  We must carry out a risk assessment and balance the risks of infection with COVID 19 and the risks of going without physiotherapy.

We will ask you to formally consent to having face to face treatment during the COVID 19 pandemic.

Before every session we must carry out a screen on the telephone to check that you, or a member of your household are not suffering with any of the following symptoms of COVID 19

  • Fever (Temperature of above 37.9)

  • Shortness of Breath

  • Loss of Sense of Taste or Smell

  • Dry Cough

  • Runny Nose

  • Sore Throat

If you or a member of your household develop symptoms of COVID 19 within 14 days of attending clinic you must let us know.
